People of all ages! Infants, children, teenagers and adults.

What is a speech and language therapist called in Dutch?

As usual, the Dutch like to keep things practical and straightforward.  In Dutch it's just one-word: 'logopedist'.

Why so many different names?

Speech and language therapists can go by many different names, like speech-language pathologist, speech pathologist or speech therapist - it makes no difference to the service they provide. The difference in name relates to the country where they are working, and it's as simple as that.
